Five Tips for Maintaining a Safe and Healthy Autumn October 29, 2019  Here in the Delaware Valley, fall is in the air. That’s right—the days are getting shorter, leaves are falling, and the temperature is beginning to cool. Fall is a season of transition, and it’s a great time to focus on your health and wellness. Although our bodies are different, and nothing health-related is a guarantee, these five tips will help you and your family stay healthy and safe while enjoying the autumn season. #1—Get Your Flu Shot Plan to get a flu shot in October or early November, before the season peaks during winter. Flu shots are recommended for the entire family, from infants six months of age and older through senior-aged adults. Getting an annual flu shot is your best defense against contracting this prevalent virus. Even if you do get sick, a flu shot can reduce the symptoms.  Forestview Relief Society Newsletter - September 2021 Presidency Thought There are times when we seem to take one step forward only to take two steps back.  Although we were getting to the point where we were not only getting back to attending our meetings in person, we have been able to do so without masks.  However, life is  Spotlight  Launi Stevenson I grew up skiing and hiking in Park City. I come from a family of 6 kids, and from a young age I’ve always loved spending time with family—especially outdoors. I love being outside hiking, going on walks, swimming, biking, or just hanging out.  My husband, Brad, and I have been blessed with five great kids: a three month old girl, a two-and-a-half year old boy, and our late triplet girls who passed away due to complications of prematurity in 2016. We’re so happy to have a knowledge of the plan of salvation and our great ward who has always supported us!  When I can find some spare time, I enjoy working...
