October 2024 - what would you like
I have been thinking of previous newsletters that I created. I have found things that I think would be interesting and relevant now. I came upon a post from back in 2021. I would be interested in knowing what you think of these suggestions.
In October of 2021 I created a post of the tips that I thought were worth sharing. They include:
Five Tips for Maintaining a Safe and Healthy Autumn
October 29, 2019 there was a post from the Delaware Valley, where fall was in the air. They went on to say that the days were getting shorter, leaves were falling, and the temperature was beginning to cool. Fall is a season of transition, and it’s a great time to focus on your health and wellness. Although our bodies are different, and nothing health-related is a guarantee, these five tips will help you and your family stay healthy and safe while enjoying the autumn season.
#1—Get Your Flu Shot
#2—Eat Seasonally
#3—Take Care of Outdoor Chores
#4—Schedule Yearly Checkups
#5—Maintain a Safe Home
Also, add an HVAC filter to your shopping list. Filters should be changed every couple of months, especially during seasonal changes, to keep your home clean and your family breathing healthy air.

In my October 2023 newsletter I talked about Gardening and delved into the holidays in October - especially Halloween. I included the reasoning behind the holiday, ways to decorate and celebrate it. I even showed a great variety of recipes. I also included a few 'minor' holidays.
I have tried to bring this from a 'word' document to this blog. Hopefully it comes over.
